Some of the costumes were so good, it is impossible to identify several Tottenham players as they dressed up for their Christmas party on Sunday.

Former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp famously tried to ban his players from having a festive knees-up, but Mauricio Pochettino had no problem with his squad celebrating after their 2-1 win over Burnley.

Striker Harry Kane's rendition of Batman villain Bane was perhaps the best of the impersonations, but Christian Eriksen's Harry Potter and Dele Alli's Ali G ran their team-mate pretty close.

Kieran Trippier and Tom Carroll dressed-up as Oompa Loompas from the 1971 movie Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, while Cameron Carter-Vickers and Harry Winks were Ghostbusters.

Mousa Dembele dressed-up as Will Smith's Fresh Prince and Eric Dier was some kind of bad-boy biker, but it is near-impossible to to tell who is Captain America or the Gingerbread man from Shrek.
