Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris claims signing a new six-year deal shows he has full commitment and belief in the club's long-term ambitions.
The France goalkeeper, who joined Tottenham from Lyon in August 2012, became the latest Spurs player to commit his future to the club by signing a new contract on Thursday.
Tottenham are due to move into their newly constructed 61,000-seater stadium in 2018 and Lloris revealed the desire to be part of the club's future convinced him to put pen to paper on new terms to stay.
"I am very pleased with this new contract and, of course, that's how I can show my commitment to the club, my team-mates and to the gaffer," the 29-year-old told SpursTV.
"It also shows how much I believe in this project and hopefully the best years are ahead."
Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose, Kyle Walker, Jan Vertonghen and Dele Alli have also recently signed new deals to stay at White Hart Lane.
And Lloris believes the feel-good factor created by manager Mauricio Pochettino has been a pivotal factor in keeping the current Tottenham squad together.
"I feel that every day, I feel that atmosphere and that's very important for this club," he added.
"That's thanks to the gaffer and the staff who brought this feeling and without that I am sure you cannot reach great things."
Lloris has made 189 appearances for Tottenham during his four years at the club and played 37 out of 38 Premier League matches last season, conceding a club-record low of 35 goals, as Spurs finished in third place.
