Hugo Lloris says Tottenham must keep believing "human" Chelsea will falter in the Premier League title run-in.

Saturday's 4-2 defeat at Wembley ended Spurs' double hopes as Chelsea progressed to an FA Cup final against Arsenal next month.

But Antonio Conte's side have seen their advantage in the league cut to four points on the back of recent defeats to Crystal Palace and Manchester United.

And with the title rivals in live Sky Sports action twice each during Heavyweight Week, Lloris does not want Spurs' Cup exit to have a negative impact on their pursuit of the leaders.

"We know that they have an advantage but we need to believe until the end," captain Lloris said. "We knew before that this game can have maybe an impact for the rest of the season.

"But in football you need to believe because everything is possible and we don't know what will happen in the next few weeks.

"They are human and that's the case for us. The only thing that we can do is keep working hard, keep believing and playing the same way that we play in the last few weeks."

Tottenham could be seven points back by the time they take on Crystal Palace on Wednesday, with Chelsea at home to Southampton on Tuesday.

Both sides then feature on Super Sunday - Chelsea going to Everton and Spurs hosting Arsenal.
