Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele will have surgery on his left foot and misses out on the post-season trip to Hong Kong.
The 29-year-old Belgium international will have an operation to deal with the persistent problem but is expected to return in time for pre-season.
Spurs revealed a 22-man squad on Monday that will travel overseas for Friday's game against Kitchee FC.
Defender Kyle Walker has been included in the team despite reports of a possible exit in the summer.
Danny Rose is the only other omission with the left-back expected to miss the start of next season following surgery on damaged knee ligaments suffered during a Premier League game at Sunderland in January.
Youngsters Filip Lesniak, Luke Amos, Will Miller, Kazaiah Sterling are also in the squad for the post-season trip.
The 21-year-old Lesniak appeared as a sub in the 6-1 win at Leicester in the season's penultimate game.
He was also on the bench at Hull in Sunday's 7-1 masterclass as Mauricio Pochettino's men wrapped up the campaign as runners-up in the Premier League behind Chelsea.
