A huge fire on White Hart Lane broke out on Monday night with around 140 firefighters tackling the blaze.

A Tottenham warehouse, around a mile and half away from the construction site of Spurs' new stadium, is alight, with 25 fire engines sent to the scene after the London Fire Brigade was contacted just after 8pm.

One person was taken to hospital after suffering burns, with fire crews working through the night.

Sky Sports News understands the fire is having no impact on construction work at the new Tottenham stadium, where workers are on site as planned.

London Fire Brigade station manager Sam Kazmanli said: "This is a large fire, cylinders are involved so a hazard zone has been set as cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.

"There is a lot of smoke in the air. As a precaution, local residents are advised to keep their windows and doors closed.

"Crews will be working hard through the night to bring this blaze under control."
