Tottenham's injury curse has struck again with Dominic Solanke suffering a knee problem in training.

Solanke suffered the injury on Saturday ahead of Spurs' Super Sunday trip to Everton, and it is not yet known for how long he will be sidelined.

The Spurs forward has been a consistent performer since his £65m arrival from Bournemouth in the summer, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.

Speaking ahead of kick-off at Goodison Park, manager Ange Postecoglou said: "Dom tweaked his knee in training yesterday trying to have a shot. I am not sure the extent of it.

"It is always a blow when you lose key players and obviously in the situation we are in it is exemplified by the fact that we do not really have the depth to cover it."

Tottenham have been plagued by injuries this term, with the majority of their first-choice backline - goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven out of contention.

Brennan Johnson and Yves Bissouma picked up knocks against Arsenal last time out, with Postecoglou saying that Bissouma's issue was "not too bad, Brennan probably a bit more significant".
