CLEMENCE UPSET AT KNEE BLOW
Clemence picked up the knee injury during last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Blackburn after a collision with Rovers midfielder Garry Flitcroft and scans revealed a torn medial ligament in his left knee.
"I've torn my medial ligament so it looks like I'll be out for two to three months," Clemence told the club's official website.
"I've got to wear a brace for six weeks to start with and it will then be a case of trying to get fit again.
"I saw the specialist today (Thursday) and he said six weeks in this brace and then I should make a full recovery, which is the main thing.
"It could have been a lot worse. I've done the medial ligament but the next one along is the cruciate - that's the one you don't want to do and my season would have been over. Luckily that held on so I've just got the three months.
"The most disappointing thing is that I've done eight weeks pre-season, got myself in the team and it looked like the season was going okay but then you get something like this.
"I'm now out until around Christmas which is very disappointing but I have to keep my head up, try to be positive and come back stronger."
