Blondel may seek loan move

JONATHAN BLONDEL has admitted he is finding life difficult at Tottenham, and hinted that he will ask for a loan move back to Belgium.

The 18-year-old only arrived at White Hart Lane from Excelsior Mouscron in the summer, but has found it difficult to adapt to life in the English capital.

He has made one appearance for Spurs` first-team, a substitute outing against Southampton, but is clearly not happy in England.

Speaking to Belgian paper Het Laatste, he said: "I am not looking to leave, but it is difficult for me here.

"It is not good being away from the first-team, but also the system and regime is hard.

"After training, everybody goes away. Nothing is done together."

It would appear that the teenager is homesick, and a loan move may suit all parties - as he is highly-rated by White Hart Lane boss Glenn Hoddle.
