Kinnear wants Clemence
JOE KINNEAR has spoken to Spurs boss Glenn Hoddle about taking a couple of players on loan to Luton Town, with Stephen Clemence eyed to fill the gap on the left-hand side of midfield.
The Hatters boss is willing to offer Hoddle's players first-team football and is waiting on a response from the ex-England manager.
Kinnear said: "I've spoken to Glenn Hoddle about a couple of fringe players and am waiting to see whether he'd sooner have them playing first-team football with us rather than playing for Spurs reserves."
Clemence recently featured in Spurs reserves win over Leicester reserves on Saturday netting twice in the 3-1 win as he aims to return to the first team after being out for several months with a knee injury.
