Mauricio Pochettino was disappointed his Tottenham side conceded so quickly after scoring

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino was disappointed with the way his side conceded an equaliser so quickly after going in front at Leicester.

Dele Alli put the visitors in front nine minutes from time, but Claudio Ranieri's side were level a minute later as Riyad Mahrez earned a point for the Foxes.

The draw means Spurs are without a win in their first three Premier League outings, and they have let leads slip in their last two games - prompting Pochettino to call for more focus from his players.

"It's very disappointing," he said. "The first half was 50-50. Both teams were playing in a difficult game.

"But in the second half I think we dominated the game. After we scored we conceded another goal.

"For me, it's difficult to explain the way we conceded the goal, because we know how they play.

"Now it's a difficult moment, but we need to keep working. Today we need to fix and to realise that we have to compete more."

Despite picking up just two points so far this season, Pochettino is not worried about his side's current position.

The Spurs boss did, however, hint that he will be looking to make more signings before the transfer window closes.

Claudio Ranieri was full of praise for his Leicester side

"I'm not worried about that because the team showed it's alive and we've played very well in the three games we've played," he added.

"We deserved more, and the points we have on the table do not reflect how well we've played.

"But we're looking forward and will try to improve the squad in the next week."
