Paul Lambert has once again called for clarification over Blackburn's summer spending plans after Danny Graham's brace against Bristol City at the weekend.
The 30-year-old striker is likely to be high on Rovers' wishlist after the campaign finishes and his deal with Sunderland expires as he has scored six goals in his loan spell in east Lancashire.
However, Lambert has not received word back from the club's owners Venky's about his budget for the next campaign despite numerous pleas over the past several weeks for them to fund a promotion push.
That silence has been a source of frustration for the Scot, who is desperate to start planning for next season now Blackburn's safety has been assured.
"I think Danny's in the realms of what everybody else is in the realms of - uncertainty," Lambert said.
"Everybody's in that, from top to bottom of the club. We should have done loads by now. We should have done loads by January if the truth be known.
"People tell me the club's quite happy surviving in the Championship. It's not good enough. We have to get this uncertainty cleared, one way or another.
"Hopefully it'll become clear pretty soon. I know it's frustrating. It's frustrating for me and for everybody."
