Blackburn insist Gary Bowyer remains their manager

Blackburn have insisted Gary Bowyer remains their manager, labelling reports of his sacking as "totally untrue".
Rovers were beaten 1-0 at the Amex Stadium by Brighton and the game was followed by a report in The Sun that Bowyer - appointed to the permanent position in May 2013 - had been let go.
The result saw the club drop into the bottom three of the Championship table and heaped further pressure on Bowyer but a Blackburn official told Sky Sports News he had not left the club.
Rovers later confirmed the news via a short statement on their Twitter account: "We would not normally comment on speculation, but reports this evening regarding our manager are totally untrue and without foundation."
The defeat leaves Bowyer's side without a win from their opening five league and cup games this season.
Blackburn were undone by a Kazenga LuaLua goal 10 minutes before the interval and the visitors failed to take advantage of a series of chances, leaving them without a win from their opening five league and cup games.
But Bowyer said: "It's a difficult place to come to and Chris (Hughton) has done a great job with his recruitment, but we should have been 2-0 up after 20 minutes.
"We created a lot of chances and should have been out of sight after 25 minutes. Their keeper made two great saves. Going 1-0 down was harsh on us but we stuck at it and never stopped. We should have taken something away from here."
