Aston Villa winger Adama Traore has been ruled out for up to 10 weeks with a broken bone in his foot.

The 19-year-old suffered the injury in the 3-1 defeat to fellow strugglers Sunderland at the weekend.

He has struggled to establish himself at Villa Park since his arrival from Barcelona in the summer, starting just once in 10 appearances and scoring one goal.

But speaking ahead of the FA Cup clash at Wycombe Wanderers, manager Remi Garde said Traore's absence would be felt with the club 11 points from safety at the foot of the Premier League table.

"It's a big blow, not more, not less, than every other player. When you lose a player for 10 weeks it is huge.
