Newcastle's Daryl Janmaat injures hand in dressing room outburst

Newcastle defender Daryl Janmaat injured his hand on Saturday during a show of frustration after being substituted against Southampton, according to Sky sources.
The Dutchman left St Mary's in a sling after taking out his anger on a dressing room wall following his withdrawal in the 40th minute.
Janmaat went off after an awkward fall after a defence-splitting pass from Sadio Mane in the first half which eventually led to Graziano Pelle scoring the game's second goal.
He suffered a groin injury which is being assessed but the hand injury is not expected to keep him out of this weekend's match with Swansea.
Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Southampton was another blow to Newcastle's survival hopes and they remain 19th in the table, six points from safety, though they do have a game in hand on 17th-placed Norwich.
