Bacary Sagna is confident Manchester City can overhaul a 10-point gap to leaders Leicester and win the Premier League title this season.
The 33-year-old defender is yet to win a league championship in England, having moved from Arsenal after City's most recent domestic triumph in 2014.
But he has his sights firmly set on a medal this year, even if his club are some way off the pace they have set in previous title-winning seasons.
In 2011-12 they had 66 points from 28 games and were second in the table, while in 2013-14 they had 63 points at the 28-game stage and were third.
They currently have 50 points and Leicester City are top with 60, but Sagna is in confident mood that City can make history this season and add - at least - the Premier League title to the Capital One Cup which is already in the trophy cabinet.
I want the FA Cup, I want the League Cup and of course I want the league because I've been in England for nine years now and it's still waiting for me.
"We can do it," said Sagna. "When I see the way we react when we're in a bad situation - we always step up.
"I think it's the experience of being in that situation and being champions before. We are kind of the same situation as in the past and I don't see why we can't do it now.
"I want the FA Cup, I want the League Cup and of course I want the league because I've been in England for nine years now and it's still waiting for me.
"I want it so much and I want to give the maximum to get it. We can make history."
Leicester recorded a vital 3-1 win at Manchester City in February and have only lost once in the Premier League since Boxing Day, a run of form acknowledged by Sagna as being not particularly favourable to the City cause.
"I'm not sure pressure is going to have anything to do with it," he said. "Nobody expected Leicester to be where they are today.
"Since last December they have been the most consistent team so they are not going to drop points easily and they are going to fight until the end."
