Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan has praised Sergio Aguero's natural goalscoring ability after the striker scored his second European hat-trick of the season against Borussia Monchengladbach.
Gundogan made his debut for City at short notice on Wednesday, following an injury to David Silva.
The £21m signing from Borussia Dortmund slotted in alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling in midfield, and following the 4-0 win, he underlined the "incredible" talents of Aguero.
"There is nothing better than that," Gundogan said.
"Every team needs to score to win games, and if you have such an incredible striker in your own rows, then it gives you the safety you are always able to score.
"He did it three times and he had an amazing performance. We are all very happy to have him."
The Argentine's latest hat-trick took his tally for the campaign to nine goals in only five appearances.
Gundogan came close to grabbing a goal of his own, when he forced Gladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer into action in the first half.
He added: "I think this shows I was not born to score - Kun (Aguero) did it much better than me!
"It would have been nice to score, but 4-0 was the perfect score for me. I am very happy, it was a special day.
Kelechi Iheanacho is expected to fill in for Aguero in City's forthcoming Premier League fixture against Bournemouth and EFL Cup tie with Swansea, as the 28-year-old serves the final two games of a three-match domestic suspension.
