The 20-year-old winger is expected to play some part in City’s International Champions Cup campaign, which sees them play Roma and Real Madrid in Melbourne next week, live on Sky Sports.
City’s pre-season tour to Australia got off to a winning start earlier on Wednesday when goals from youngsters Brandon Barker and Bruno Zuculini clinched a 2-0 victory over Adelaide United in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
City’s Premier League campaign begins on August 10 with a visit to The Hawthorns to play West Bromwich Albion, a match you can see live on Sky Sports 1.
