Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson has signed a new five-year contract with the Premier League newcomers.
The 23-year-old England U21 international has made 113 appearances for the club and his top-flight debut came in last weekend's 1-1 home draw with Stoke.
Gibson told his club's official website: "I'm over the moon. I just want to make sure the next five years are in the Premier League with this club.
"It's a dream come true for me really and it's amazing for me and my family. It's an exciting time, and we're all looking forward to Sunday's game at Sunderland and hopefully picking up our first Premier League win."
The Teessider, who had loan spells with Plymouth, York City and Tranmere before establishing himself in the Boro first team, joins Daniel Ayala and George Friend in penning new deals at the Riverside.
