Slavisa Jokanovic is frustrated with Fulham's lack of activity in the final few weeks of the transfer window, according to Sky sources.

The Serbian has overseen a superb start to the Sky Bet Championship season with two wins and a draw from their opening three games.

He has insisted publicly in recent weeks that they still need to make new additions if they are to mount a sustainable promotion challenge, despite bringing in nine new faces this summer, and he is understood to have made a number of suggested targets to the club.

The Whites manager wants two new attacking options and Sky sources understand one of his principle targets is the Blackburn winger Ben Marshall.

However, Fulham have missed out on a number of Jokanovic's attacking suggestions already this summer, such as Real Murcia's Eddy Silvestre, who has been loaned to Cordoba, and Almen Abdi, who signed for Sheffield Wednesday from Jokanovic's former club Watford.

Sky sources understand Fulham's recruitment team are working hard to back Jokanovic in the transfer market and expect to sign three or four new players before the deadline.

It is understood the club are aware of the need to capitalise on their strong start and win promotion back to the Premier League this season.
