Sheffield United have signed Newcastle defender Jamie Cobain on loan.
Cobain, who will celebrate his 19th birthday on Tuesday, could make his debut for the Blades that evening against Fleetwood in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The right-back signed a three-year scholarship with Newcastle last July and has made five appearances for the Premier League club's reserve team this season.
He posted on Twitter on Monday: "Starting my first ever loan today at Sheffield United. Looking forward to all the games!"
