David Brooks has signed a new four-year deal with Sheffield United.

The 20-year-old midfielder has been in high demand and linked with moves to Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal but has decided to sign with the Blades.

Brooks featured for England under-20s in the summer, however, he is also eligible to play for Wales and received his first senior call-up for Wales for their World Cup Qualifiers against Georgia and the Republic of Ireland.

Brooks has played for the Blades 10 times this season and had his first senior start against Norwich in September.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder said: "I'm delighted that David has yet again extended his contract - he's been rewarded for an excellent start to the season.
