West Ham sell all 50,000 Olympic Stadium season tickets

West Ham United have sold more than 50,000 season tickets for their debut campaign at the Olympic Stadium.
The demand means West Ham will have more season-ticket holders than any other London club when they depart the Boleyn Ground at the end of this year.
Their current home holds 35,000 supporters while the Olympic Stadium has a capacity of 60,000.
Commenting on the sell-out, West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady said: "David Sullivan, David Gold and I have always believed in the West Ham fan base and knew we could fill the new stadium.
"Reports consistently show that we have highest average capacity in the Premier League and every game in our final season at the Boleyn Ground sold out within days of going on sale.
"So having made the bold decision to move to the former Olympic Stadium, we are delighted to see how it has captured the imagination of the Hammers fan base.
"Without doubt, our stadium move is an unrivalled success story, but we know the hard work does not stop now."
