Dimitri Payet missed West Ham's final Premier League game of the season because of a foot injury.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic confirmed in the run-up to Sunday's clash with Stoke City that the France international had been hurt in the 3-2 win over Manchester United, the final game at the Boleyn Ground on Tuesday.
Payet now has just over two weeks to regain 100 per cent fitness in time for France's opening pre-Euro 2016 friendly against Cameroon on May 30.
The French also play Scotland on June 4 before opening the tournament against Romania on June 10 in at the Stade de France in Paris.
Bilic said: "Dimi got a kick on the foot early on in the Manchester United game.
"He rested for a couple of days but when he tried to put his boot on again on Friday he found it was too painful.
"Unfortunately, it was not possible for him to play this game so we have no Payet."
