Cole had a richly successful spell in the Premier League with Chelsea and West Ham, where he won three league titles and two FA Cups with the Blues to go along with his 56 England caps.
The 35-year-old has been playing in America with the Tampa Bay Rowdies and was nominated as one of the North American Soccer League (NASL) MVP's but didn't win the main award.
"It was good, although a bit of an eye opener," he said on Soccer AM.
"They do things very differently out there but I enjoyed it. The family settled well, especially living just an hour and a half from Disney - I loved that!"
Along with chatting about his life across the pond, Cole was asked to partake in a team-mates feature, which produced some fascinating answers.
