Slaven Bilic is expected back at West Ham’s training ground over the next couple of days, after spending time in hospital with a heavy dose of flu.
The Hammers boss started feeling unwell on Saturday, following the club's victory at Middlesbrough.
On Sunday he felt worse and went to a hospital in London where he was kept in for observation.
Press Association Sport understands the 48-year-old went back home on Tuesday and could return to work later this week.
A number of West Ham players and staff have also suffered from the flu during the past couple of weeks.
The club do not have a fixture this weekend, having already been knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester City who will be their next opponents on Wednesday, February 1.
