And the 39-year-old has chosen this star-studded line-up consisting of those he played alongside...

"In this team I will pick a lot of players who I played with at Sevilla because we won so many trophies together in a 4-4-2 formation," Kanoute explained to the show.

ANDRES PALOP
He was just a fantastic leader in the dressing room and on the pitch and scored the goal in the Europa League last 16, I think, and it qualified us, so it was quite unbelievable. He is a big, big legend in Sevilla and in Spain in general.

JAVI NAVARRO
Central defender, I played with him in Sevilla and he is an unbelievable leader, the kind of leader and captain that I like because he was not talking too much, but was leading by example. And that is why I really respected him. A few times he was borderline a little bit when he was playing, but a fantastic guy.

LEDLEY KING
This guy has everything. I remember he could play No 6, he could play centre back, skilful, quick, strong, he had everything. He was injured a lot, as you guys know, so he even had to stop his career at a young age. But in terms of potential and quality, I think he is one of the central defenders who impressed me the most.

ANTONIO PUERTA
This is a little bit sad as he passed away when he was 23. He was a fantastic talent from Sevilla, and unfortunately he had a heart disorder and passed away on the pitch when we played a game in La Liga and he was unbelievable. I remember he scored a fantastic goal to qualify us for our first Europa League final and he became a fantastic left back.

DANI ALVES
On the right side. I played with him for three years in Sevilla. This is a character, so uplifting, so happy all the time and such a good player. I would describe him as a No 10 from the full-back position. He was so comfortable on the ball and he gave me so many assists, so I have to put him in the team because he is such a good player.

JESUS NAVAS
On the right side. Again, I played with him at Sevilla, I know that people do not really understand his game here in England, but he is a fantastic winger if you know how to play with him and if you have good communication with him, you can score so many goals. I cannot even count the number of goals he gave me, just unbelievable, and I knew exactly where and when he was going to cross.

He was good for Sevilla so he felt really, really good over there and everybody loved him. We called him 'El Nino' as well, 'The Kid', because everybody knew him since he was little and he started to play with the first team since he was 17, or something like this. So I am really grateful and happy to have played with him because he gave me so many assists, which was great.

SEYDOU KEITA
He will play No 6. I played with him at Sevilla and the Mali national team. He is such a football lover, he thinks football, he eats football, he is a winner, if he loses a game he does not want to eat for two days. He is a fantastic example and has been an example for the national team for so many years and I think he is one of the most underrated players in the world. Strong, technical, good left foot and vision, he had everything. And he was really successful at Barcelona as well, but obviously with all the good players he had to compete with, he did not have so much game time over there.

FRANK LAMPARD
I played with him at West Ham when it was the start of his career, and more or less mine as well. It was not that he was great, great at West Ham, but you could see his potential. And I think he impressed everybody for all his years at Chelsea. And a fantastic guy and one of the best players I have seen at training, always there, really professional, always in the gym working, first on the pitch. And a great, great guy.

TREVOR SINCLAIR
I would put him on the left side. He is strong and had a fantastic mentality, he scored some brilliant goals and put some passion into the game, great mentality and example to the youngsters as well, and a great guy. I have met several times since then as we are both doing our coaching badges together.

SONNY ANDERSON
I would play him as a No 9. He came to Lyon when I was a youngster and obviously I had to be on the bench in the beginning because he was there. I learned so much from him and he was the type of modern No 9, at the time there were not so many No 9s like him, quick and always thinking just one second ahead of the defenders, he could strike with both feet. He could turn his body so quick and I remember that he was not touched at all by pressure.

I remember that Lyon bought him for several millions, which at the time was quite unbelievable, and we got kicked out of the qualifying for the Champions League at the start of the season and the fans were fuming and came to the training session the day after. And he came with his son on the pitch before training started and he started to play with his son and you could see all the fans insulting him. And he was just smiling with his son and playing with the ball. So I said: 'Wow, he does not feel any pressure!' And the week after he was banging goals in week in, week out. A great player.

ROBBIE KEANE
Up front as the second striker. The kind of loyal team-mate who is always giving 100 per cent for the team and when we were playing together, we used to understand each other quite well on the pitch. I think he is a really clever player and has had a fantastic career.
