David Moyes will have three new assistants at West Ham after it was confirmed that Stuart Pearce, Alan Irvine and Billy McKinlay will be joining the new management set-up at the London Stadium.
The bulk of Slaven Bilic's coaching staff left along with the Croat when he was sacked on November 6 and Moyes has moved quickly to strengthen his hand ahead of his first game in charge at Watford, live on Sky Sports on November 19.
Irvine has previously worked with Moyes at both Preston North End and Everton and was most recently at Norwich City, where he served as assistant manager to Alex Neil.
He told the club's website: "This is the sixth job I have been offered since leaving Norwich at the end of last season - some of which were very attractive - but it's the first one that has persuaded me to accept, so I hope that says a lot about how excited I am to be here.
"The prospect of working in the Premier League, at a great club, and alongside David, meant that it was an opportunity I couldn't resist, and I hope that I can now make a positive contribution."
Pearce had a two-year spell in charge of Manchester City before spending six years coaching England U21s. He left that post in 2013 before an ill-fated seven months in charge of another of his former clubs, Nottingham Forest.
He made over 400 appearances for Forest over 12 years before spending two years at Upton Park, where he was named player of the year in 2001.
Pearce said: "The opportunity to work with David Moyes, who I have respected greatly over the years, was a big factor, as was having previously played for the club.
"It's been many years since I was there for a couple of seasons, but I really enjoyed my time. The West Ham fans were fantastic to me and I'm looking forward to coming back."
McKinlay, who leaves his role as co-caretaker boss at Sunderland to move to east London, is also well known to Moyes having been part of his coaching team at Real Sociedad and working as a scout for him during his ill-fated spell at the Stadium of Light.
A Sunderland statement read: "The club would like to thank Billy for his efforts during his time on Wearside. Robbie Stockdale will continue as the club's caretaker manager when the squad returns to training on Monday."
