We look at the leading XI from the second weekend of the Premier League season according to Sky Sports Fantasy Football.

Vincent Kompany and Riyad Mahrez are both back in the line-up for second successive week, while there are plenty of others who have bounced back from far less impressive opening-weekend displays.

Boaz Myhill

Myhill endured a torrid start with a 3-0 thumping at the hands of Manchester City on the opening Monday Night Football, but made amends for picking up -1 point in that loss with a clean sheet plus bonus points for a string of key saves at Watford.

Seamus Coleman

The Irish full-back also made up for a woeful opening weekend, when Everton could only salvage a 2-2 draw with new boys Watford, providing an assist as his side produced a counter-attacking masterclass to sink Southampton 3-0.

Vincent Kompany

It was another reminder of just how much Manchester City miss their injury-tainted captain as he found the net for a second successive week and muted Chelsea's typically troubling target-man Diego Costa in another 3-0 victory.

Federico Fernandez

The Argentinian produced the sort of cultured performance that Swansea fans have come to expect from their central-defenders, spreading the ball from the back to rack up a passing bonus point to go with his clean sheet in the 2-0 win over Newcastle.

Nathan Redmond

If Alex Neil was looking for a response from the winger by benching him for the opening weekend then he's certainly got the desired response, with a consolation against Crystal Palace followed up with a goal-scoring MOTM display in Norwich's 3-0 thumping of Sunderland.

Riyad Mahrez

Leicester have been the surprise package of the season so far with winger Mahrez their leading force, adding to his opening weekend brace with another goal in a 2-1 win at West Ham.

Jonjo Shelvey

The former Liverpool man was the architect of Swansea's victory over Newcastle, with an assist, an 88% pass completion rate and over 10km covered seeing him named Sky Sports man-of-the-match.

Stephen Ireland

Tottenham looked on course for a 2-0 victory over Stoke until Mark Hughes turned to Stephen Ireland, whose influence was so profound that he scooped an assist, the MOTM award and a point for Stoke in his 30-minute cameo.

Christian Benteke

While tougher tests lie ahead, with the greatest respect to Bournemouth, Benteke showed just what a force he can be for Liverpool, firing home the winner and scooping the MOTM award in the process on Monday Night Football.

Sergio Aguero

Last season's top scorer ran Chelsea ragged all afternoon and it looked just a matter of time before he broke the deadlock, eventually opening the floodgates for a comfortable City victory.

Romelu Lukaku

Everton's record signing has shouldered his fair share of criticism since arriving at Goodison Park but proved just what an unstoppable force he can be in bagging at brace at St Mary's.
