West Ham have been fined £50,000 by the FA in relation to the behaviour of their players during the 3-0 victory over Liverpool last month.

The London club have also be warned as to their future conduct after multiple players surrounded referee Kevin Friend following the dismissal of Mark Noble for a challenge on Danny Ings.

Noble received a straight red for the tackle but the decision was eventually overturned on appeal, with the automatic three-match ban also withdrawn.

However, West Ham have admitted a charge of misconduct in relation to the players' reaction to the sending off.

"Following an independent regulatory commission hearing, West Ham United have been fined £50,000 and warned as to their future conduct after an FA player misconduct charge brought against the club was found proven," read a statement released by the FA.

"It was alleged that in or around the 78th minute of the game against Liverpool on 29 August 2015, West Ham failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

"The club had admitted the charge and submitted a plea for mitigation."
