Watford have signed full-back Juan Camilo Zuniga from Napoli, initially on a season-long loan.

Zuniga will stay at Vicarage Road until next summer, when Watford will have the option of making the deal permanent.

The move reunites him with new Hornets boss Walter Mazzari, who was in charge of Napoli between 2009 and 2013.

Zuniga has been capped 62 times by Colombia and played four times at the last World Cup in Brazil, ending superstar Neymar's tournament with a challenge in the sides' quarter-final.

He can play at right-back or left-back but was sent on loan to Bologna for the second half of last season after losing his place at Napoli.

The 30-year-old is Watford's fourth close-season signing as Italian Mazzari prepares for his first Premier League campaign having replaced Quique Sanchez Flores.
