Watford defender Allan Nyom signs new four-year contract

Watford defender Allan Nyom has signed a new four-year contract with the club.

The 28-year-old Cameroon international moved to Vicarage Road from Udinese in July 2015 and played 32 times in the Premier League last season to help them finish 13th in the table.

Nyom had spent six years on loan from Udinese at Granada before joining the Hornets.

New Watford boss Walter Mazzarri has also bolstered his squad this summer with the signings of Isaac Success, Christian Kabasele, Brice Dja Djedje, Jerome Sinclair and Juan Camilo Zuniga.

Watford's record signing Isaac Success is confident he can help them improve on last season's 13th-place finish in the Premier League.

The Hertfordshire club travel to St Mary's to face Southampton in their opening game of the new season on August 13.
