Scunthorpe manager Mark Robins has taken forward Joe Lolley on a month's loan from his old club Huddersfield.

The 23-year-old was brought to the Terriers by Robins from Kidderminster in 2014 but has scored just four times for them, with the majority of his appearances coming from the bench.

One of those substitute outings came in Huddersfield's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest on Thursday evening.

"He is a player I rate and also the sort of player who needs game time and minutes on the pitch," Robins told Scunthorpe's official website.

"Hopefully we can give him that and it can be a fruitful spell here for him. Initially it's for a month and we'll just assess it as we go along.
