Reports in the national press on Friday morning suggested the former Rotherham boss had emailed Cellino to push his case to replace Rosler.

Rosler, who was sacked on Monday and immediately replaced with Evans, has reportedly complained to the League Managers Association about Evans' alleged conduct.
