Wolves have signed Mike Williamson on a month-long loan from Newcastle.
The 31-year-old defender has made 171 appearances for the Magpies since his arrival from Portsmouth in January 2010 but is currently down the pecking order under Steve McClaren.
He has featured in just two Capital One Cup games this term and has been allowed to make the short-term move to Molineux.
Williamson is available for the Midlands derby against Birmingham on Saturday.
