Gillingham have extended the loan spell of Reading striker Dominic Samuel for another month.

The 21-year old has agreed to stay on with the League One club until January 2.

Samuel has made four appearances for the Gills since moving to Kent last month, and scored on his debut in a 3-1 victory over Bury.

Manager Justin Edinburgh told the club's official website: "We are delighted to retain Dominic's services. He has given us that focal point up front and allows Cody (McDonald) and Rory (Donnelly) to play off him.

"We are pleased Reading have allowed him to stay.
