Rotherham boss Neil Warnock has been named Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for March.
Warnock helped instil some collective steel in his players to secure 10 points from four games during the month as they moved away from the relegation zone.
Wins over Middlesbrough and South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday helped lift Rotherham out of the bottom three.
"The players have done a tremendous job and so have the staff and I'd like to give special mentions to [assistant manager] Kevin Blackwell and [coach] Ronnie Jepson," said Warnock.
"We won't stop here and it's important to keep that momentum going that we've built up over the last month. We'll need to continue this string of form from now until the end of the season."
George Burley, chairman of the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel, said of Warnock: "Neil has had a great month taking 10 points from four games, all against teams chasing promotion.
"Since taking charge at Rotherham he has changed their season around, pushing them out of the relegation places towards safety, which looked impossible a few months ago."
Burnley striker Sam Vokes won the player plaudits in the Sky Bet Championship, with his four goals and a series of impressive performances earning him the March award.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche said: "We are delighted for Sam. He has got stronger and stronger as the season has progressed and his continued thirst to improve and deliver performances has been rightly recognised with this award."
Sky Sports' Football League pundit Don Goodman said: "Having been largely overshadowed by the wonderful Andre Gray's goal scoring feats for most of the season, Sam Vokes showed Burnley what they were missing during his long lay-off with some vital goals in March.
"Vokes is a handful for any defender in the Championship and a real team player who will be crucial in Burnley's battle to get back to the Premier League."
Meanwhile, Barnsley's Paul Heckingbottom has been named the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for March.
Heckingbottom has been instrumental in Barnsley's pursuit of a play-off place, instantly earning his players' trust and respect.
The Tykes secured 13 points from six games with the help of four clean sheets and also won the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in dramatic style last weekend when they came from behind to defeat Oxford 3-2 at Wembley.
Shrewsbury midfielder Sullay Kaikai was named Player of the Month in League One after he scored five goals in as many matches after re-joining on loan from Crystal Palace.
Bristol Rovers scooped both manager and player awards in Sky Bet League Two.
Darrell Clarke was named Manager of the Month for March in the division after the Gasmen enjoyed an almost perfect month, finishing with six wins and 19 goals from seven matches, a run of results that saw them climb from 10th place to challenge for an automatic promotion place.
Rovers striker Matty Taylor won the player award following a prolific month that saw him score eight times in seven games, including a perfect hat-trick (right foot finish, left foot finish, header) in the 4-1 victory over Hartlepool.
