Huddersfield have signed Jon Gorenc Stankovic from Borussia Dortmund for an undisclosed fee.
The Slovenian central defender, 20, has signed a four-year contract which Huddersfield have the option of extending by a further year.
In recruiting the Slovenia Under-21 international, manager David Wagner has taken advantage of contacts made at his former club. The two were once colleagues at Borussia Dortmund II.
