Che Adams set to join Birmingham City from Sheffield United

Birmingham City are very close to agreeing a deal to sign striker Che Adams from Sheffield United, according to Sky sources.

The 20-year-old, who is being offered a three-year contract at St Andrew's, was the subject of a £1.2m bid from City, which was rejected earlier this month.

SSN HQ understands the overall package - including add-ons - could now be worth up to £1.9m to the League One club.

Adams has scored 15 goals in 54 games for Sheffield United.
