Cardiff's Sol Bamba argued with the fourth official and his own manager Neil Warnock after being sent off against Ipswich Town

Cardiff defender Sol Bamba has apologised to manager Neil Warnock and his team-mates after losing his cool and lashing out following a tackle by Ipswich Town's Jonathan Douglas.

The defender received a red card after he shoved his own physio before venting his anger on team-mates, the referee James Adcock, the fourth official and finally his manager.

Sky Sports News HQ understands Bamba, signed on a free by Warnock as soon as he arrived in South Wales, will receive a significant fine from his club and a warning as to his future conduct.

But first, he will have to deal with an FA ban.
