Sergi Canos has re-joined Brentford in a permanent deal from Norwich.

The winger has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at Griffin Park having spent just six months at Carrow Road.

Brentford have an option to extend Canos' stay until 2022 having signed him for an undisclosed fee on Tuesday.

Boss Dean Smith told the club's official site: "Sergi is a player and character that fits naturally into our dressing room. After working with him last season, you can see what he brings to the group, and an infectious attitude to match.

"We are all very happy that the deal has been completed and we can all now work together to continue his development and enjoy the potential we all know he possesses."

Canos returns after a successful loan spell last season from Liverpool, where he played 39 times and scored seven goals.
