Hoops boss goes back to the drawing board
QPR manager Neil Warnock admits he will now have to find two new players after missing out on Jon Walters.
Striker Walters, 26, opted to join Premier League side Stoke City for an initial fee of £2.75million, but had been strongly linked with a move to Rangers.
Warnock will now have to go back to the drawing board and concedes he requires two new additions to do the job Walters could have done.
He told the
Ealing Gazette: "Jonathan could have played up front or on the right and now I've got to look for two different players for the same role."
QPR have got off to an excellent start in the Championship this season and after two wins from two, they take on Scunthorpe at home on Saturday.
