Burnley boss Sean Dyche insists there is still room for improvement despite seeing Burnley romp to third straight Championship win,

After Atdhe Nuhiu cancelled out David Jones' opener, substitute Matthew Taylor and home debutant Andre Gray earned a 3-1 success over Sheffield Wednesday.

But Dyche believes the Turf Moor crowd have seen nothing yet.

"I still think there's more to come," he said. "We've got players who are moulding, they're getting used to each other, we've got players getting fully fit.

"In the first half I didn't think there was much in it, we had a couple of great chances, which we didn't capitalise on and in the first 20 minutes of the second half I thought they were very good and they made us work for what we had and they got our organisation off kilter.

"Slowly but surely I could sense it. I thought 'we're getting back on top' and a fine stand-up from Andre Gray for Matty Taylor's goal and then the rawness that Andre's got is a powerful weapon. He goes after things that others maybe wouldn't.

"That will and demand from him to press from the front was on show and he was very unlucky not to catch the keeper twice with a block which would have ended up in the net."

Highlights of Burnley's 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the Sky Bet Championship.

Jones curled in a delightful seventh-minute free-kick past Joe Wildsmith, but the Owls drew level when Daniel Pudil found space on the left and delivered a pinpoint 20th-minute cross for Nuhiu to head Wednesday level.

The home side went back ahead on 78 minutes after Gray outfoxed Glenn Loovens and crossed for Taylor to volley home emphatically.

Gray sealed the win in stoppage time after robbing Liam Palmer of possession and cutting inside to finish confidently.

Yet Sheffield Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal felt it was his side worthy of the three points.

"If you ask me if I'm happy with the draw, probably I would say I'm a little upset with the draw," Carvalhal said.

"But the reality is that we lost a match that we played very well and we created a lot of chances. I believe everyone in the stadium, in a big period of the second half, was waiting for the second goal of Sheffield Wednesday. But this is football.

"The quality of the game was very good. We missed some chances so we must do better in efficiency and of course we must correct the defensive mistakes.

"We started the game very well, the first time that Burnley go to our goal with the free-kick, they score.

"In the second half we played much more offensively in midfield. We missed clear chances to score but in the one or two mistakes that we did, Burnley got the goals."
