Robbie Keane is interested in reuniting with Harry Redknapp at Birmingham City, Sky sources understand.

Redknapp confirmed Birmingham have not yet made an offer to Keane, who is out of contract after leaving LA Galaxy, but last week said he "would not want to be a liar" and deny interest, insisting the forward is a player "you would love to have around your club".

Keane, who played under Redknapp at Tottenham Hotspur, is aware of the Birmingham manager's comments and believes he could offer something to the Sky Bet Championship club.
