Sunderland striker Duncan Watmore may need further surgery on injured knee

Sunderland striker Duncan Watmore may need a second operation on his injured knee, boss David Moyes has confirmed.
The England U21 striker, who was effectively ruled out for the rest of the season with anterior cruciate ligament damage in December, has been suffering discomfort after returning to light training.
Watmore is due to see a specialist this week, who will decide whether or not he needs further work under the knife.
"He might be needing a little bit of work done on his knee," Moyes said as Sunderland prepare for a make-or-break northeast derby again Middlesbrough on Wednesday.
"Obviously he's not back, but he might be needing a little bit more surgery on his knee. He's been feeling it. He's been running a little bit, so he'll see the surgeon this week."
Sunderland are rock bottom of the Premier League, 13 points adrift of safety with six games remaining and face second-bottom Boro, who are in just as much need of the points.
Moyes said: "I can't speak for Boro, only us, and we need it. We know our desperation.
"We had a good performance against West Ham and deserved at least a point so we've got to try and pick up from that and take it into this game.
"There's a big belief that we can get a result. The players are training well. We've taken a bit of confidence from West Ham."
