VALE IN RAM RAID

SECOND DIVISION Port Vale have signed winger Sinclair Le Geyt from Derby County in another swoop on the Premiership side having already captured Marc Bridge-Wilkinson.

The 20-year-old celebrates his birthday on Monday and will add to Brian Horton's attacking options as he can either play out wide or up-front.

Horton (pictured) said: "He is another highly-thought of youngster who didn't get into the Derby first team.  He can play wide or as a forward and will give us more options."

Vale also completed the signing of Ville Viljanen on a 12-month contract after a protracted summer break, he will now join in the pre-season training.

Meanwhile, Tony Rougier will miss Vale's first friendly game as he will be playing for Trinidad and Tobago against Canada.
