West Brom have agreed a club-record £13m fee with Tottenham for attacking midfielder Nacer Chadli, according to Sky sources.

West Brom manager Tony Pulis has made it clear that he is keen to add to his squad before the transfer window closes on Wednesday night, and Chadli appears to have fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane.

The Belgium international had been a regular squad member at Spurs since arriving in the summer of 2013, but has not even been named on the bench for any of their Premier League fixtures so far this season.

It was originally suggested that Chadli would be going to the Hawthorns on loan but it now seems the Baggies are willing to part with a club record fee for the 27-year-old, who is expected to have a medical early this week.

Chadli joined Spurs from Twente for around £7m and has made 119 appearances for the north London side, scoring 25 goals.

He now appears set to join a Baggies outfit who have taken four points from their first three games of the season but have only scored two goals and drew 0-0 at home to newly-promoted Middlesbrough on Sunday.

After the match, West Brom boss Tony Pulis said: "We are trying our hardest as a football club to get that something we need in.
