West Brom will be without Nacer Chadli for the "foreseeable future" after the forward picked up an injury in training.

Baggies manager Tony Pulis is unhappy that Chadli played two full matches for Belgium during the international break, having only just returned to fitness after injury.

Chadli has only appeared twice for West Brom in the Premier League this season so far and was substituted in both matches but he started and finished Belgium's recent friendlies against Mexico and Japan.

And Pulis reported on Friday that the 28-year-old is now facing another lay-off.

"We are very, very disappointed," said Pulis. "Chadli has come back, (having) played two games for Belgium.

"We are disappointed he played the 90 minutes (in both), and has ended up getting an injury yesterday in training.

"That is going to keep him out for the foreseeable future.

"Chadli missed the pre-season, we played him in a game and a half, he did not feel 100 per cent fit, and him going off to play for Belgium, and play two games in a short period of time, has unfortunately caught him out.

"Very unfortunate for us as a football club as well."

West Brom will also be without James Morrison, who has undergone Achilles surgery, for the visit of Chelsea on Saturday, but summer signing Oliver Burke is ready for a return to first-team duty after injury.

"He will definitely be involved in the group," said Pulis. "Whether he starts or whether he comes off the bench.

"We are pleased to have Ollie back. The thing with Ollie is making sure we don't throw him in and he gets injured again.

"The important thing is getting him to a level where he can play or come on.

"The pace of the game today and the rigours the players are put through, you have got to make sure they are 100 per cent fit."
