West Brom boss Alan Pardew confirmed the four players who broke a curfew in Barcelona have been disciplined by the club.
Jonny Evans was stripped of the captaincy for last weekend's FA Cup loss to Southampton as a result of an incident involving him, Gareth Barry, Boaz Myhill and Jake Livermore outside a fast food restaurant in Barcelona.
A Spanish court has decided not to pursue a case against the players.
Pardew says Evans has been restored as skipper ahead of Saturday's must-win game against Huddersfield, provided he comes through training on Friday, and feels the matter is now dealt with.
He said: "They've been disciplined by the disciplinary board - there is a little board here that gets together and decides that. We move on hopefully, as best we can.
We're either going to perform the great escape, go down fighting with dignity, or go down with a whimper.
"Am I angry about the situation? Of course I am. It's tempered with a results business and we need to get results.
"That incident magnified our situation and the only way we can get out of that kind of spotlight is to win games.
"Our focus this week, for me, my staff and team, it's all about winning a massive game against a Huddersfield side that have improved just recently and got a couple of good results.
"We need to win, for our fans and ourselves, for our pride, to show courage and honour in our performance."
'We have three scenarios in front of us'
Pardew hopes the incident in Barcelona has not damaged the relationship with West Brom's fans and has seen a determination from his players to repay their faith.
"The first half against Southampton, I said afterwards we looked apprehensive," said Pardew.
"That was understandable because the news had blown up in front of us before the game.
"We've had time to face the issue a little bit and deal with it as best we can. It will never go away. It's a mistake we've had to repair ourselves from.
"Certainly we're much more focused this week and our desire levels are strong. The group have come together to show they mean business.
"We really have only three scenarios in front of us. We're either going to perform the great escape, go down fighting with dignity, or go down with a whimper.
"I certainly hope it isn't the last one."
