Ben Foster and Craig Dawson are facing punishment from West Brom after they refused to join a pre-season trip to Portugal, according to Sky sources.
The pair will be dealt with internally by Albion for declining to join the squad, who left for Portugal on Tuesday.
There has been interest in both players and Sky Sports News understand West Brom are not prepared to let Dawson leave on the cheap, after they rejected a £12m bid from West Ham for the defender.
Dawson and Jay Rodriguez were the subject of a double £25million bid from Burnley, which was rejected, while West Ham and Manchester City are reportedly interested in Foster.
Foster, who arrived from Birmingham in 2012, has made 184 appearances for West Brom while defender Dawson joined from Rochdale in 2010.
It is the first major issue new boss Darren Moore must deal with after his appointment as full-time manager last month, and he is likely to fine Foster and Dawson.
He failed to stop the Baggies dropping into the Sky Bet Championship but won May's Premier League manager of the month and finished with three wins, two draws and one defeat from his six games.
