Southampton manager Ronald Koeman admits he is concerned about his side's lack of goals during a barren run which has seen them lose three of their last four Premier League matches.
Saints have found the net only twice during defeats to Stoke, Manchester City and Crystal Palace and the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.
Koeman has seen his side, who were also beaten 6-1 at home by Liverpool in the Capital One Cup earlier this month, slip to 12th in the table as a result with the pressure now starting to build at St Mary's.
"It's impossible to explain everything that happens in football but I think we are struggling in scoring goals," said the Dutchman.
"Our opponents are punishing our defensive mistakes. It's close if you watch all the results every weekend, it's always 1-0, 1-1, 0-0, 2-1 and every detail is important.
"The whole team performance, every individual performance of the players is a little bit lower than what we expect and what we can show."
Koeman is aware he is under pressure to turn around his team's performances but he insists he has no concerns about working in these circumstances.
He said: "As a manager you always have pressure because you know what can happen. It's all about football and if you win you are happy, if you don't win you are not happy and trying to change things and to come back again to winning games.
"But I am used to that pressure that's no problem. Everybody who is a long time in this position knows what can happen and we know because the expectations for Southampton are much higher than they were last year.
"We put our targets very high and if we can't for several reasons reach that level at the moment, then you are always under pressure."
